Punk Fashion’s Not Dead (If Tripp NYC Can Help It)

Tripp NYC released images from their S/S 2013 collection, and though I wouldn’t consider this to be one of my favorite lookbooks, I think the clothes–and most specifically, the pants–speak for themselves.

For at least the past 10 years, Tripp NYC has remained my favorite go-to brand when it comes to trashy street-punk style staples. Lately they’ve been killing it with their collection of unique prints and split color pants, and I’m glad to see they have plenty more of that on the way for 2013.

I’m pretty excited to see Siouxsie Sioux showing up in one of their tee designs, although, in terms of what I might actually try and get my hands on, I plan to challenge myself and see if I can figure out a way to rock their bondage pants with a bit of sophistication. I’m also diggin’ on their lace-up shorts.

What do you think about the lookbook and new collection? It’s not much of a change from what they’re already producing, but I’d say, if you’re good at what you’re already doing, keep going with it.
