Despite the plethora of amazing blogs and fashion sites out there, there’s nothing I love more than holding a print magazine in my hands. If you’re like me, you should be excited about the ever-increasing variety of alternative fashion magazines out there. Here’s just a taste. Click the images to find where you can purchase each issue.
Gothic Beauty: The most accessible and affordable of the bunch. There’s a 50/50 chance you’ll actually be able to find this magazine at your local Border Books next time you stop by. Great photos and features but not quite as artistically assembled as Dark Beauty magazine.
Dark Beauty: The title sort of says it all. Absolutely gorgeous photos but at a hefty price. Also available as a PDF download for a discounted price.
Harlow Magazine: According to them they combine high fashion with alternative fashion. I’ve yet to pick this one up but I’ve seen some of their photoshoots. Some impressive eye-candy indeed.
Steampunk Magazine: Haven’t yet picked this one up either, but it claims to feature fashion, politics, fiction, and all things linked to the Steampunk lifestyle in general. Only $5 for the printed edition, although it’s available to download for free (gotta love that).
