For those of you that are financially challenged like I am, but who still desire dramatic getups and outlandish makeup, Hard Candy’s recent line of makeup may have sparked your interest. While I didn’t exactly expect monumental results from their general cream and pressed powder eyeshadows in terms of high-pigmentation and staying power, I thought their temporary eye tattoos seemed promising.
So I tried them out and here are a few shots. Mind you, you can find a million youtube videos with people applying the makeup, but I thought it might be useful to see what they look like hours later, after a good amount of wear, plenty of antics, and lots of forgetful eye rubbing.
The bottom line is, they’re well defined, true to the design, and once you apply the setting powder they absolutely do not budge. And actually, if you don’t have a stellar makeup remover, they may not budge the next day as well. Only downside is, if you don’t have a steady hand and you apply even the slightest bit crooked, you’ll sort of look like an idiot.
