I took a weekend trip to Philly a couple of weeks back, and for once there was no agenda. No fashion shows or goth clubs–so it really just turned into an all-day Chinatown fest. I took a few outfit snaps so you can see what new pieces have stolen my heart, and threw in a few randoms.
First up, I’ve recently came to terms with the fact that I’m a more loyal Hottopic customer at age 26 than I ever was as a teen. That’s where I picked up these split color stretch jeans from Tripp NYC, as well this awesomely ridic sheer skeleton ballerina shirt.
Next is part of the window display outside of the music venue, The Trocadero. Make sure to take note of the stage diving goth chick…and Skeletor.
Along the way I came across a tiny shop full of silk robes, parasols, wooden zodiac beads, and a few out of place gothy necklaces–and I of course had to snatch one up. To be clear, it says “I feel about you makes my heart lone to be tree.”
Instead of the usual, kinda gross white terrycloth robes, our room was stocked with animal print robes. Here’s my cousin doing what any person would obviously do upon finding a zebra print robe.
And here I am, finally out and about sporting my Heavy Red underbust corset. I look a tad bit more beer wenchy than intended, but I guess you always run that risk…
And may I leave you with a picture of what might perhaps be the most adorable sponge cake I have ever seen…
