Shortly after the runway show began I had two thoughts. One: I hoped to get some good shots of Autumnlin’s collection. Two: I wanted to know who those black clad people in the front row with the colored hair were, and I hoped to run into them so I could take their picture.
As coincidence would have it, my initial thoughts were linked, and the people in the front row were actually part of the Autumnlin design team.
The reason I was so excited about this designer is because of the dark, other-wordly aspect of her work. Her wearable art is both sexy and sophisticated, with a punk edge. 
And a particular lesson I learned this trip was that, press pass or not, you have to be willing to mow people down to get a good shot. So I apologize for the lack of different photo angles… My photo companion and I will have to be more cutthroat next time.
