Sometimes I come up with a concept, other times someone tells me “I want to be mourning my lover in a cemetery,” or “we want to look like dead goth puppets.” In this case all I was told was “give me heroine eyes” (eyes rimmed in red eyeshadow), and we went from there.<\/p>\n

These pics are a slight<\/em> change of pace for me–they’re more metal than glamor vamp–which is fitting since my model is Jeffy Dahmer, member of the metal band, Last of Nine.<\/p>\n

I’d teased his hair up to the damn sky but the wind was against us most of the time (and damn you, Aqua Net…you didn’t pull through when I needed you). But in the end we still pulled off some nice shots–and major props to every model that agrees to outdoor shoots with me in the winter, ’cause seriously, damn…<\/p>\n
