In this picture&#8211;FAIL. With the patches of green peeking through, who would&#8217;ve known I&#8217;d already gone through three cans of black spraypaint, only to have to abort my mission due to an insanely painful hand cramp. Well, we&#8217;ll call it a work in progress. Three more cans next year and that should just about do it, I suppose&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5179\" title=\"2\" src=\"https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although in this picture, sans flash, with the lights turned low, it appears to be a success. Well, lighting is overrated, so that&#8217;s good enough for me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Untitled-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5181\" title=\"Untitled-4\" src=\"https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Untitled-4-729x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"842\" srcset=\"https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Untitled-4-729x1024.jpg 729w, https:\/\/petephillipsonline.com\/fashionvandals\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Untitled-4-213x300.jpg 213w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I got this tree a few years back, when I was a poor grad student (<em>insert sad violin music<\/em>) and at the time I decided to make all of my ornaments, basically out of cardboard, lace, craft paper, and cutouts from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.victoriantradingco.com\/\">Victorian Trading Company<\/a> catalogs.
