New York Fashion Week gave us some stunning new collections, and in my opinion, a few surprises. I expected to be blown away by The Blonds, as usual, but that ended up not being the case. While their collection was as loud and bold as always, it felt kind of stale–like they were pulling the same old “shocking” tricks without much innovation.<\/p>\n

What I also didn’t expect was to be blown away by Anna Sui. Her collection was full of diversity and contrasts–part romantic part playful punk rock.<\/p>\n
