It\u2019s become a tradition that every year I round up a group of friends for a tea party. If you saw last summer\u2019s post<\/a>, we ventured to Sugar\u2019s Tea Room in Forty Fort, PA, but this time around I hosted the party at\u00a0my apartment\u00a0and added a\u00a0new aspect–a Glam Punk dress code.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The party was a lovely success–there were cakes, tea sandwiches,\u00a0party favors, eight\u00a0types of tea,\u00a0and a springy floral decor.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I loved the wide array of outfits. When I\u00a0established the Glam Punk theme I offered no explanation as to what it entailed, hoping that everyone would\u00a0offer their own unique spin (so do\u00a0not whine at me saying “Hey, that’s not Glam Punk!” We took some creative\u00a0liberties.).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I DIYed\u00a0some of my outfit–layered\u00a0 a torn-up old skirt over a fitted\u00a0mini, styled\u00a0 one of my wigs into a small pompadour, and finished off the outfit with a Heavy Red underbust corset <\/a>and an Abbey Dawn biker jacket.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The lovely lady, Ali Territory, brought a bit of a pin-up spin to her look, rockin a Hell Bunny<\/a> dress and some “absolute territory” thigh highs (nerd reference, anyone?).<\/p>\n

\"\"Darling Stewie<\/a>\u00a0called her look “Gaga on crack,” but it was the general consensus that she looked like a lost member of Jem and the Holograms. She scored her awesome lavender wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs<\/a>, and it left her absolutely glowing (literally) in every pic..<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>My roommate went in an unexpectedly daring\u00a0direction with her outfit. That’s straight-up acrylic paint she has circling her eyes…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The darkly romantic outfit my friend Cassie wore was a wonderful contrast to the rest. I loved all the accents and details of her vintage dress.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Our one later-comer to the party added some much-needed\u00a0gender diversity, and in my opinion, he just might rock my Jeantrix eyepatch <\/a>even better than I do…<\/p>\n
